Your Journey to Relief
We built the ClearWay Client Journey to replace confusion and panic with a step-by-step process.
Stage 1: Discovery – Sharing Your Story
You tell us what you’re facing. We help you separate background noise from urgent matters so you can focus attention where it is most important.
Stage 2: Clarifying Your Options
We explain realistic paths in front of you (defense, waiting, consulting other professionals, improving documentation, etc.), including general budgeting and planning considerations.
Stage 3: Legal Support (Program-Dependent)
For programs that include limited legal representation (and where we are licensed), we perform defined legal tasks. This is strictly legal work—not ongoing debt counseling or management.
Stage 4: Long-Term Education & Planning
As immediate crises calm, we emphasize:
- Understanding basic budgeting and emergency fund concepts,
- Safe habits for using and monitoring credit,
- Document retention and organization.
These are general educational concepts and not customized financial planning.
Timeline & Expectations
Every case is different, but we provide a general sense of timing:
- Short-term clarity: Often within days or weeks after your initial session
- Implementation of a Relief Plan: Typically over several weeks to many months, depending
on how many issues you’re addressing
- Legal matters: Can extend over several months or longer, depending on court schedules and complexity
During your initial conversations, we’ll give you a realistic timeframe based on your situation and the program you’re considering.
FAQs – ClearWay Legal Relief
Do you provide credit or debt counseling?
No. We provide legal information, general financial education, and limited legal services where licensed. We do not provide credit counseling, debt management plans, or individualized financial coaching.
Do you create individualized debt payoff plans or manage my debts?
No. We do not create individualized payoff plans, manage your accounts, or track your progress as a counseling program. Any planning tools we provide are general and for educational use only.
Do you negotiate with creditors or resolve debt for me?
We do not operate a creditor negotiation or debt resolution program. In limited legal representation engagements, we may communicate with opposing counsel or collectors as part of a specific case. That is not the same as managing or resolving all of your debts.
What formal licensing or certification do you have?
Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in the jurisdictions listed in their biographies and engagement documents. These law licenses authorize us to provide legal services. We are not certified credit counselors, financial planners, or providers of credential-based debt counseling.
Can you guarantee my debt will be reduced or eliminated?
No. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes. Our role is to educate you, help you understand legal processes, and provide limited legal services where engaged.
